FAQ & Returns
Do you have a minimum order? Yes, we require a minimum of $150 on your first order only (excluding shipping costs)! Any order after that does not require a minimum.
What are your suggested retail prices? We have always suggested doubling (plus shipping) your cost when selling retail. Since some retail stores may pay more in shipping depending on location/weight of order, it may be useful to add shipping costs into your selling cost per item, although some stores just absorb shipping costs altogether to market products at a lower price.
When will I receive my order? We usually ship your order within 2-3 business days of when your order was placed. We ship out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays unless specified otherwise. You can typically expect your order within a week.
Can I place an order and have you ship later? Yes! Please make a note in your order to have your items shipped at a later date.
What is your backorder policy? All back orders will be entered into our system on a separate invoice and sent along with customer's order. If customer used a credit card/PayPal to place the order with back ordered items, customer's invoice will reflect that those items are paid for. If customer is on terms with us, the back ordered items will be billed separately. Back ordered items will be sent with free shipping as soon as the FULL back order arrives.
Can I add items to my back ordered shipment? Yes, you will be charged full shipping costs for items added to your backorder since it is considered a new order.
What is your pre-order policy? Pre-ordered items (i.e. new items) will not be shipped separately from current items on the same order. We will hold the entire order until all pre-ordered items arrive, unless noted by customer otherwise.

What are shipping costs? Shipping costs are determined by UPS based on the dimensional weight of the box the order ships in. Mira Fair Trade charges a minimal packaging fee to cover material costs. If your shipping charge seems high please contact us and we will look into it for you. Please let us know if you have questions!
Do you accept returns on sale items? No, our sale items are usually on sale because the product is being discontinued or has slight defects.
Can I make a custom order? Yes, we encourage you to make your own, custom products! Our artisans enjoy making custom orders. See our Custom Design page to learn more. Please note that no sales or promotions of any kind can be applied to custom order regardless of the date of order. Thank you. *Custom orders may not be cancelled after samples are confirmed. Customer agrees to pay and is responsible for the full amount of order once sample is confirmed.*
RETURN POLICY: Please inspect your items and let us know of any defect(s) within 30 days to receive a full credit, refund, or replacement. Include the invoice number the item came with and a picture of the defect, if possible, to ensure better quality and service for our products in the future.
Any defect brought to our attention after 30 days will not receive any credit, refund, or replacement. Mira Fair Trade will only cover shipping costs for damaged or defected products
